Reading 2006: Episode II
I needed the toilet, there was no disputing that, but the thing I wanted to do couldn't be done in one of these.
Sinks! Was I dreaming?
Back at the tents James and Rich were wrestling. It's vital to stay in shape when in Reading.
Man-Toe Alert.
Strongbow, a terrible drink, certainly nothing to smile about.
The mere sight of watching someone drink Strongbow drove Evan to vomit.
After filling my body will happy making goods, I set off on my own to watch Eagles of Death Metal. I also saw a bit of Dizzee Rascal. We all finished the evening by watching Bedouin Soundclash, who were quite pleasant.
What happened next? I can't remember. Morning came and I tried to take a photo of a tent, but this girl was in the way. Obviously we had been robbed again in our sleep, this time John was the victim.
Was he wearing this jacket as a joke or as a serious? You decide.
Wellies, the coward's way out.
It's always wise to wear yellow, because it will protect you against a Green Lantern's ring.
Behold, my poncho. It was £5 and big enough to house a small Russian family.
Once again we went to the Whetherspoons in Caversham to have breakfast. So great was James' hunger that he ate mint sauce straight for the sachet. Horrible stuff.
After the usual chaos of queueing in Waitrose, Tesco or Marks and Spencer we went back. Who did I bump into in Waitrose? This guy. Who is he? Only my longest serving friend. We went to watch Plan B, who says 'dick' a lot.
Back at the tent I ate some delicious soggy chocolate cheesecake.
Prepare yourselves for a piece of history in the making. We were sitting on chairs minding our own business.
Suddenly, this happened.
Surely it will fall to the floor?
No. With a simple upwards slap, the greatest game of all time was born; Tapey.
The scoring system is complex and one wrong flick of the wrist could see you with a lifetime ban.
Tapey is not a game for people with a fear of falling off their chair.
To celebrate the wonder of Tapey I had some chocolate fudge cake.
Everyone was united in their desire to hear Feeder make this noise "doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo".
These girls wanted to go to the toilet, but after some confusion Evan thought they wanted to dance.

Two men and a poncho. If I married Regina Spektor we could adopt Rich and live in my poncho. We'd be just like a small Russian family.
Along came the rain, but we were prepared, for I, Chin, had a large poncho.
Instead of using toilets like normal people, most of the boys urinated into a bottomless Carling cup.
Although it wasn't 100% effective.
This nameless woman wanted shelter from the rain. We explained that she was standing in a puddle of everyone's piss, but she embraced it and danced in the puddle, splashing it all over her bare legs.

all these photos remind me of why i no longer go to festivals. you filthy dogs.
I know Tapey is not a game for all people, but there's no need to call us dogs. I never pissed into a cup or onto the floor, by the way, I'm classy like.
