A Community Shield Sunday

The end of my road. Or the start, depending on whether or not you want to say that it's the start or end. In the distant middle you will see the new cinema that will be opening soon. At night it has lots of colourful lights moving around. God knows why, but he won't tell me.


He was quite a cocky fella, wasn't he? If someone went around saying that they were the way, truth and life today, they'd be bloody crucified.


Some trendy benches. At night they light up. I have no idea why.


Guess what these big pole things do at night. Yes, they light up. There's a saying in Swansea, "If it doesn't light up at night for no particular reason, it ain't worth building".


This is the new cinema.

Here is one of the many entrances to the Quadrant Shopping Centre. That New Look used to be a C&A.


If you look closely, or just allow me to zoom in and do it for you, you will notice the devil. I have no idea why he is there. He's always been there.


I stopped off in HMV. I haven't seen Requiem For A Dream.


So I went off to pay. I was served by that young lady on the left. Her name was Mia.


I have three cards. I know the pin number to two of them. Luckily I used the right one.


Whilst taking this photo I walked into a man. He didn't seem happy, but there's no law against walking whilst using your phone. At least not yet.


What a stupid place to park.


Ah, Swansea bus station, home of scum, sub-human scum.


According to this timetable a bus will arrive at some point today.

A kid passed on a scooter. I really want to be able to ride on one of these without shame. I could get to uni in half the time.

It appears that the bus is stopping, but that's no guarantee. I'll only believe it when I hear it from the driver's mouth.


It stopped and I got off. I don't mean like that. I was at the Commercial, a very scummy pub where it's not unheard of for customers to get their noses cut off, but they have lots of tvs and a big screen.


Rich and Evan were on the quiz machine.


They should have waited for me if they wanted to avoid the humiliating game over screen.


Evan left, he had just been for food. Rich and I sat down in an empty corner bit.

I looked at the menu. The last time I had food here it was horrible, but the time before that it was nice.


I had smothered chicken and garlic bread with cheese.

Libby came. No, I don't mean like that. At least I hope not. Actually that's wrong, I probably do hope that.


Some people thought that this was funny. I am above such things.


Then some football happened or something and Liverpool won. There is still hope for a multi-horse race for the Premiership, even if Van Nistelrooy has left for Spain.
